Data Analyst (Winnipeg)

Paradigm Consulting Group is in an active growth phase and securing talented consultants is a critical component of our success. We are looking for Data Analysts to join our team. The role will be based in Winnipeg for our customer who are in Manitoba. Kindly note candidates must reside in Canada to qualify.

Each requirement we receive varies, but the skillset may include:
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.),
  • Advanced knowledge of AI, Data Cleansing, Data Governance, Audit principles and Data Security.
  • Strong knowledge of current disaster recovery best practices, technologies, and trends.
  • Experience with SQL and Azure SQL
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

Duties may include:
 
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement data collection, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Understanding of how AI impacts data analysis to support and maintain audit abilities and data sovereignty.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing source system extracts.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
