Each requirement we receive varies, but the skillset may include:
- 5 years’ experience with Cyber Security Management tools, creating and maintaining Playbooks, Policies and Procedures and with the development, deployment, and automation of security solutions in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of network based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods
- Experience extracting pertinent security data from monitoring solutions, audit logs, and reports
- Experience in variety of security technology and architecture, such as MFA, SOAR, DLP, SIEM, privileged access management, network security and data security
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Visio skills required
- Self-motivation, capable of taking initiative to problem solve and identify solutions with minimal supervision
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related equivalent experience
- CEH, CISSP, CISM, GEAC and other security certifications desired
Duties may include:
- Responsible for assisting with the technical deployment of our customer’s Cyber Security Action Plan
- Responsible for independently performing and assisting with penetration testing assessments (networks, applications, web services, wireless networks, social engineering, etc), red team and adversarial simulation assessments
- Documentation of findings and creating of reports; delivery of the information in both written and verbal formats
- Document and create incident response workflows, playbooks and procedures
- Provide technical leadership in the deployment of security automation tools (SOAR, SIEM)
- Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise on all security technologies and keep abreast of emerging security support technologies and industry trends
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security violations by providing post-mortem analysis to illuminate the issue, and identify causes, possible solutions, and preventative measures.
