Business Analyst

Paradigm has opportunities for Business Analysts (Intermediate or Senior) to employ their knowledge, skills and techniques to deliver and implement initiatives and enable our customers to maximize their investments in their business processes and information technology.

The role will be based onsite for our customers who are in Regina or Winnipeg.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Currently hold a valid CBAP certification (Certified Business Analyst Professional)
What our clients are looking for in a Business Analyst:
  • Strong understanding of government or large enterprise environments, including familiarity with operational processes, systems, and organizational structures
  • Demonstrated experience leading workshops and collaborative sessions to gather, review, and prioritize business and technical needs
  • Comfortable working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, IT teams, and vendors to document and improve operational processes
  • Experience analyzing current workflows and help design improved future-state processes and solutions
  • Ability to translate technical concepts, system functionality, and integration details into clear language for both technical and non-technical audiences
Duties may include:
  • Collaborate with project teams and project managers to define project scope, requirements, timelines, resources, and quality expectations
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, planning workshops, and requirements gathering meetings with business and technical stakeholders
  • Analyze and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows
  • Translate business requirements into business rules and solution recommendations
  • Identify gaps, risks, issues, and opportunities, and recommend effective resolutions
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams
  • Assist with reporting requirements, report development, and testing activities
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy, integrity, and functionality of solutions
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders
  • Support organizational readiness and change management initiatives
  • Research and recommend new technologies, approaches, and process improvements
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication across internal and external stakeholder groups
